Bible Study Notes

God has once again spoken to the heart of our under-shepherd in order that our church might have a spiritual picture of God’s promise that is placed before us. Vision has always disciplined our course and directed our action. As a church we respect and respond to the fact that God gives the vision to our Pastor for us to follow.

2011 Theme:  "The Year of Fresh Wind”

“He causes his wind to blow….”  Psalm 147:18b

2011 Theme: ―The Year of Fresh Wind

“He causes His wind to blow….” Psalm 147:18b Through out the bible when God breathed his breath/wind upon something it caused life and inspiration. Adam became a living soul because of God’s breath, the dry bones came back to life because of God’s wind, Pentecost occurred on the NT believers by way of wind and Holy men received inspiration from God because He breathed upon them. In the same like manner the breath of God breathed afresh upon the work and ministry of our church eleven years ago, which caused supernatural revolution and results in ministry. Since that time fatigue and fall-out in some areas have occurred, but God has promised to once again breathe a fresh wind of His power upon us and the purpose for which He has called us. Certain areas of our ministry need a fresh wind of God’s power so that we can again experience supernatural momentum and manifestation. God has given the picture of His promise now we are to participate in His plan.

Vision Components:

Fresh Wind on our Worship!

The most powerful aspect of our church ministry for years has been our spirit-filled worship. In 2011 we will experience a fresh and mighty move of God upon our Worship encounters as we intentionally move worshippers to “Spirit and Truth” balance. We will seek to further evoke a greater presence of God in all aspects of our worship experience that will draw the masses for next level ministry. A fresh Wind on our Worship will cause needed condition and change in the worshippers.
